    University of Waterloo

    • The University of Waterloo is located in the heart of what is called "Canada's Technology Triangle." The University has a student population of around 30,000, and has been consistently ranked as the most innovative university in Canada by "Maclean" magazine's annual Canadian university rankings.

The College of Engineering at Waterloo has around 6,000 undergraduate and 1,500 graduate students (as of 2010). The college boasts Canada's largest engineering programs, and offers bachelor's degrees in 13 engineering specializations. The university helps students secure jobs in the field of engineering, and students alternate between classes and work each semester. This work experience helps them secure full-time jobs after graduation.
